Helen L. Reichenberg Powers
Helen L. Reichenberg Powers, 59 of Billings, passed away on May 8, 2009 at Autumn Care Home, where she had been residing for the last couple years. Helen was born on December 14, 1949 in Billings, MT to Walter and Ruth Reichenberg.
Following her education in Billings, Helen moved to California, where she was employed by Chevron Oil, in the data entry department. After 15 years with Chevron, she returned to Montana. She married David Powers, and they later divorced.
Helen was a member of American Lutheran Church in Billings.
She is survived by her father, Walter Reichenberg of Billings; brother Richard Reichenberg; sister Lenice (Jon) Byrd, all of Billings; nieces, Lisa Byrd of Helena and Carissa Byrd of Billings; nephew Ehren J. (Crystal) Byrd and their family of Billings; aunt Donna (Jim) Polen and Uncle Elmer (Pat) Reichenberg.
Memorial and Graveside services are pending at this time. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Rocky Mountain Hospice or the Animal Shelter.
