Stella Dorothy Bejot of Billings, Montana, died at the Valley Health Care Center, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at the age of 93 years.

Stella was born on June 25, 1915, to Henry and Mary Blair Jones near Gordon, Nebraska. She lived in this area until 1928, when she and her family moved to Ainsworth, Nebraska.

She was married to Jerome "Buck" Bejot at O'Neill, Nebraska, on April 28, 1931. They resided in the Buffalo Flats and Ainsworth area until 1983 when they moved to Billings, Montana, where she resided until the date of her death.

Stella was a gentle and kind person - her greatest joy was in her "boys" and their families. On April 28, 2001, Stella and the love of her life, "Buck," celebrated their 10dl wedding anniversary in Billings.

She is survived by sons, Arnold (Jeanette) of Billings; and Roger (Getha) of Sandpoint, Idaho; her sister- in-law, Lois Jones, of Ainsworth, Nebraska; together with seven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

The Bejot family would like to thank the health care staff at Valley Health Care Center for their excellent care and kindness to Stella.

Joint graveside services will be held for Stella and Jerome at Ainsworth, Nebraska, at a later date.
