Stella Marie Gerber
Stella Marie Gerber, 63, died at her home in Edgar, July 17, 2009. She was born to Albert and Tillie (Schutz) Gerber on May 16, 1946. She attended Edgar School and Billings Business College. She was an avid Alan Jackson fan, attending many of his concerts. She loved to watch her Steelers, Bears and L.A. Lakers with her brothers. Stella was a very patriotic American who loved to display her American flag. She enjoyed her country music, dolls, angels and eagles. Stella wrote many poems, some published in the Poet Society books.
Survivors are sisters Mae Blain, Aggie (Jim) Duke, Jane (Dick) Gradwohl, all of Laurel; brothers Mark of Edgar and Luke of Hardin; many relatives and friends and special friend, Steve. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and many special relatives and friends.
We wish to thank Dr. Marchello, Beartooth Hospice staff, and all our families for their love and care. Donations may be made to Beartooth Hospice, Edgar Fire Dept. or your choice.
Services will be at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22. Burial will be at Rockvale Cemetery.
Our precious little Stella, we will miss you and keep you in our hearts forever.

Dear Family, I was so saddened to hear of Stella's passing! We became close friends when we both attended Billings Business College in Billings. We spent many hours laughing, chatting and sharing "secrets" ! I got married, moved away and saw Stella one or two times after we moved back, and we laughed and chatted as before. I was just thinking of her a couple of weekends ago as we were driving past Edgar, thinking I needed to give her a call. She was such a sweet spirit and a total "kick' to be around. I have very fond and fun memories of Stella, and wish I would have made that call earlier! Please know she will be missed...Love ya, Stell, rest in peace. Bev Schlesener , Laurel, MT
