Dear Tim,

I was so sorry to hear about your Grandpa's death. I will always remember him as a very loving Grandpa, one every child would be lucky to have. He and your Grandma were always there for you, Tim. I will be forever greatful for that. He and your Grandma always included Jens and Jens remembers that kindness. Jens said what he remembers is Al giving him candy bars at the newsstand! You and all of the family are in my thoughts.

I love you, Mom

To the family of Al,

I had the pleasure of having Al as my boss, at the Prime Rate Motel in the early 1980's. Al was a kind, fair, and considerate man to work for. He always had a smile, and something nice to say. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Fondly,

Melanie (Shikany) McCulloch

I worked with Al at Billings New and enjoyed getting to know him. He was a very nice gentleman. My thought and prayers are with you.

Dear Hofferber Family,

Al was a memorable "one of a kind" guy. His smile could light up a room. I admired him because he didn't just talk the talk, but became involved and helped others in the community. I am glad that he was recognized for these efforts with the Senior Citizen of the Year award in 1999. He is now at peace with Dal. Take care and God Bless.
