Clarence E. Mutscher

1931-2009

Remembrances

To the family and friends of Clarence Mutscher we send our condolences. We know he fought a long and tough battle with cancer and pray that he has found peace once again with Eunice. Clarence grew up on the farm next to ours and my parents and his went back and forth all the time. Eunice in fact was one of my grade school teachers. They were a great pair. My cousin Mark kept us informed of his activities and stamina. We had the good fortune to visit him and see his meticulous collections--truly a marvel and so artistically done. He will be missed by many and has left his mark on this world. We send our sympathy to all.

Pat, Chuck and Chantel,

Our thoughts are with you at this time. Wish we could be there to say goodbye to Clarence with you. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and we send our love.

I remember Clarence very well and have very fond memories of him, both at work and off work. Clarence was a very caring and fair man, he was always fun to talk or visit with. He will be missed very much. My deepest sympathy, Gordy Mohn, friend & co-worker Nodak Electric

Barb, we are thinking and praying for you in this sad time. Barb A

Clarence and I worked together for 33 years at Nodak. We spent a lot of time together both on the job and off and enjoyed talking about the good old days. I did manage to get to Billings a few times and enjoyed discussing the past. He was a very good friend and will be missed by all who knew him. Our thought and prayers are with the family and we join in their sorrow. Ron Holte

Barb and Pat,

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have such fond memories of you and your parents from my childhood years at the lake when your dad would take us waterskiing and from our time as neighbors on 1st Avenue North in Grand Forks. With deepest sympathy, Gail (Christianson) Sullivan

Clarence & Eunice were very special friends of ours and we always enjoyed our visits with them. After the death of my husband Bob Anderson, Clarence was very supportive and a great help to me. He was always willing to explain things and never to busy to answer my questions. How wonderful to know a person as caring and trustworthy as Clarence.

Mildred Anderson Grand Forks, ND

Condolences to the family and friends of Clarence. Although we live and long way away we will sadly miss Clarence. Clarence and Eunice were always so kind when we visited them in North Dakota and Montana. We will never forget trips to Yellowstone, Glacier NP, and many parts of Montana and Wyoming. Clarence and Eunice also visited my parents Roy and Doris Sepke and us in England. I will always remember walking with Clarence along our main street when some young men admired Clarence's' haircut (very short hair was fashionable for some in the late 70'). They asked him where he got it cut and I will never forget the looks of surprise when he replied "Grand Forks North Dakota!" Which is long way from our little town Horsham. In deepest sympathy - Chris and Matthew Sepke - son and grandson of Roy Sepke - brother of Henrietta (Clarence's mom)

Pat, Barb, Dorraine, Dewey and families: So sorry we could not be there to say good-bye to Clarence; but we were fortunate to have been able to talk to him a couple times over this last year. I (Norma) have so many fond memories as a young girl staying with Clarence and his sister Dorraine and had so much fun I didn’t want to leave to return back to my home. Living so far away prevented us from being able to visit as much as we would have liked to but enjoyed time together when we were able to have the opportunity. He will be missed very much and we will always be thinking of him and the girls. Norma and Darrell Ophaug of Marion, Iowa
