Joyce Rosina Bailey
Joyce Rosina Bailey (Trimble), 84 of Billings, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 surrounded by family and close friends at West Park Village where she had resided since February. She had made her home in Billings for 62 years.
The daughter of O.J. and Helen Kathryn Trimble, Joyce was born June 22, 1925 in Devils Lake, ND.
She had a master’s degree in elementary education and remedial reading. Joyce taught first grade for school district #2 for twenty years.
Joyce married William Carl Bailey, June 11, 1946 in Long Beach, CA. He preceded her in death August 27, 1996.
She was a charter member of Central Christian Church where she had sung for many years.
Survivors include her daughter Kathryn Lee Bailey, son Paul William Bailey (Kay), granddaughter Heather Ann Petty (Michael), great grandchildren Rosina LeeAnne Petty and Brittney Rose Petty, and her brother John Griffin Trimble (Bjo). In addition to her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter Lora Jean Bailey, son Robert Carl Bailey, and granddaughter Stephanie Lang.
Joyce’s extended family encompassed by her big heart and accepting nature, included cousins, nieces, nephews, a brother-in-law and many others who called her Mom, Grandma, and friend. She will be widely missed!
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 11am Wednesday at Central Christian Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of a Wonderful Woman that was always a very Special Wife, Mother, Sister, GrandMother, Great-GrandMother, Mother-in-law, Friend and Teacher.
Heaven has now received another Special Angel and it now will be filled with her singing forever. She will Missed by all who Loved her and by all who knew her Friendship. She is now at Peace.
